Grand Opening of the Bike N Ski Training Center

Bike N Ski employee Brian Matter won the last stop of the triple crown of mountian biking last weekend in Traverse City, MI by beating Mike Simonson of Oxford, MI and Olympian Jeremy Horgan Kobelski of Boulder, CO.

Congratulations Brian!!

Now that Brian has completed his final MTB race of the season and downloaded his high tech Garmin GPS files, you can come into Bike N Ski to try the races yourself in our Computrainer Training Center.

Enjoy riding on 3 popular WORS courses and the best road rides in the Kettles. You can also challenge yourself to ride all 3 Triple Crown race courses without freezing your butt off this winter.

The 2007 WORS mountain bike season is officially over and Bike N Ski would like to congratulate all athletes who finished the finale held at Evergreen Park in Sheboygan last weekend.

More exciting events are taking place this Saturday Oct. 13 in Sheboygan County. The Beechwood Blaster is an underground MTB race held on private land.
Check it out as this will be your only opportunity to ride 6 miles of untouchable trails!

Also on Sat., Oct. 13 at 12:00, there will be a Skate Park competition at the Sheboygan Skate Park presented by Projext Youth for ages 8 - 18. Inline skates, scooters, and BMX bikes will take to the ramps and Bike N Ski's own Tyler Patz will be there giving out 10's to the best of Sheboygan's youngsters. For more information call Bike N Ski.

Bike N Ski is switching over to winter mode despite the unseasonably warm weather recently. It's never too early to bring in your skis and snowboards for waxing and edge work!

Bicycle Safety Clinic a Success
Bike N Ski in conjunction with The Boys and Girls Club of Sheboygan hosted a bicycle safety clinic this past Wednesday. Rules of the road and proper usage of a bike helmet were key topics. Thanks to Jeff Meyer of Plymouth WI who, along with Bike N Ski, donated a bike to one lucky winner. Although only 15 kids participated, we were happy and hope for bigger and better next year.
Congratulations to the winner of a new Trek bicycle - Tyler Wychesit!

Bike N SKi will be hosting a Cross Ride which will meet Thursdays at 5:00pm at the shop.
We will ride to various parks in Sheboygan, Kohler, Falls, and Howards Grove, then set up some barriers and let 'er rip.

The new '08 bikes are arriving and one of the biggest changes is in the '08 Cyclocross frame.
Come on in and ask for information on the new XO2 and all the other 2008 Trek bikes.

Mention this update to receive 20% off any remaining 2007 models or any of your cyclocross needs!
